School For Paws is a Victoria Stilwell Positively approved dog training establishment based in Shropshire, and it is also the UK and European base for the assessment and interviews of new Positively Trainers.  Our aims have always been to provide kind and effective methods of training for the pet dog owner, and to promote responsible dog ownership.  School For Paws have developed a successful business in encouraging owners to understand their canine companions; this is achieved by helping people understand how a dog thinks, and why they behave the way they do.  We specialize in 1-2-1 training, as this has proven to be the most popular and successful method of addressing the needs of the individual, rather than generalized group training.   References available upon request.

By communicating with the aid of body language, having  an understanding of their thought processes, and becoming a good leader to your canine friend, you will soon have a better-behaved and happy dog in your home.  All training is designed to be simple and easy to remember; you will learn what is required to be a good dog leader, and how to maintain safe control of your animal both in the home and other environments.  Further instruction can be given that is tailored to your needs; such as walking on the lead, recall, and building a good relationship etc.
